John Hansford Brannon, age 69, passed away on August 3, 2014.  He was the dedicated son of Hansford G. Brannon and Reva (nee Younker), beloved husband of Pat Brannon (nee Carr), dear father of John P. and his wife, Kimberly, Mike G. and his wife, Kelly, Matthew R. and his wife, Amber, James F. and Lauren Fadely, Mary C. Metzler and her husband, Mark and Lisa M. Parker and her husband, Paul.  He was also the devoted grandfather of Victoria Parker, Andrew Brannon, Paul Parker, Alex Teruel, Elizabeth Metzler, Abigail Brannon, Kayla Metzler, and Averie, Nathan, Treygan and McKenzie Brannon, and the loving brother of Harold Brannon and his wife, Patricia, Marie Howard and her husband Ray, Alice Hammer and her late husband, John, Linda Pridemore and her husband, Richard, and Patricia and the late William Brannon. John was born in Baltimore, MD.  He grew up in Howard County before settling in Glen Burnie/Gambrills. He was a carpenter by trade for over 50 years and was a very dedicated worker.  He enjoyed traveling to Florida and watching tv, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will truly be missed... The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S where services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 noon.
