John Melvin Adams, age 72, passed away on November 21, 2016.  He was the beloved husband of 53 years to the late Mary (nee Standiford), dear father of Jeanette Adams, Tammy Johnson and her husband, Keith, loving sister of James Standiford, Catherine Hessler and Joanna Helwig, devoted grandfather of Brandy Martinoli and Donna Hammock and great grandfather of Annabel Marie Hammock. John was a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie.  He worked as a Machine Adjuster in the paper manufacturing industry.  He enjoyed football and especially NASCAR, and liked old cars, but more than anything he loved spending time with his family. He will truly be missed.....
