On January 31, 2012, Mary "Joan" Baesch, age 73 passed away. She lived in Ferndale since 1964 before moving to Glen Burnie.  Joan was the dear mother of Harold "Hal", Mark and Robert Baesch, and devoted grandmother of 8 grand and 2 great grandchildren.  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Brooklyn and also enjoyed needlepoint, camping and spending time with her family. She is preceeded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold A. Baesch.
