Jess Allen Van Meter, age 42, passed away on November 12, 2014.  He was the loving son of Abraham L. Van Meter and Regina E. (nee Dutton), dear brother of Carl A. McCready, Tammy A. Musco and her husband, Steve and devoted uncle of Mikayla, Caleb, Kaitlyn and Kelsey Musco. Jess was a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie.  He was a 10 year employee of the FBI before taking a mechanic position in the concrete industry.  He enjoyed dirt bike and jet ski racing, baseball, soccer and golf. Fishing, especially for rock fish, out of Chesapeake Beach was his passion serving as 1st Mate aboard the fishing vessel "Top Duck." A memorial gathering will be hosted at The Lighthouse Church on Sunday, November 16,2014 from 3-5 PM where memorial services will be celebrated from 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lighthouse Church, 120 Langley Rd., Glen Burnie, MD 21060.
