IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James "Jim"
Salvatore Centineo, Jr
October 4, 1959 – November 20, 2025
On November 21, 2025, James, "Jim" Salvatore Centineo, Jr. passed at the age of 66.
Born in Baltimore the son of James S., Sr. and Belvadene (ne'e Holheimer) Centineo, he would be raised in Severna Park and be a resident of Northern Anne Arundel County for his lifetime.
Jim graduated from Severna Park High School and went on to technical training in automotive mechanics. He worked for Meineke Car Care Center ultimately rising to management and serving the company for over 20 years. One of the most memorable highlights of his career was meeting the spokesman of the company at a convention, George Foreman. For his long time, dedicated service, Jim was awarded a certificate of appreciation by a grateful company.
In his leisure, Jim was a power boat enthusiast, and as he would tell you, not sailboats. He liked working on cars and anything mechanical in general and was especially happy to help out friends, neighbors and family with their projects whenever possible.
Surviving Jim is his dear wife of nearly 45 years, Ena A. (ne'e Tormollan) as well as his two loving sons, James J. Centineo and "Billy" S. Centineo and his partner Nikki. He will be missed by his beloved siblings, Mary Listman and husband Henry, Josephine Meyers and husband George and Joseph Centineo and wife Cindy. He will be cherished in the memories of his extended family including his father-in-law Winston Keith, sisters-in-laws, Peggy Sovay and husband Augie, Marique and husband Mike, Dorothy, and brother-in-law Ian and wife Barbara. Jim's legacy continues with his loving grandchildren, Anthony, Ashleigh, Chelsey and Ryan. The loss will be noted for numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, friends and coworkers. "Boh-Boh", Jim's adopted four legged grandchild will miss him very much as he is united in passing with his late dog "Izzy"
