James Harden
Jones, Jr.
March 14, 1948 – November 16, 2021
Suddenly, On November 16, 2021, James H. Jones, Jr., passed at the age of 73.
James was born in Glen Burnie, the son of James Sr., and Myrtel "Peggy" (nee' Meyers) where he would spend most of his life save several years in North Carolina.
He was a painter by trade and a member of the Teamsters Union and a retiree of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education where he worked many years. In his leisure time, James enjoyed bowling, so much so, that he bowled for over 20 years on a team known as the "Saturday Night Owls." He also enjoyed time fishing, but in the end he was just a "homebody." He preferred the company of family most of all.
James is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years and partner for 40 years, Joann Jones (nee' Rey). He will be deeply missed buy his children James H. Jones, III, and spouse Connie, Michael Udes, Terri Mills and husband Kevin and Dawn Wills and spouse Gerry, as well as a daughter -in-law, Melody Udes. He joins in passing his dear children Richard Udes and Debbie Montgomery. James leaves to mourn the loss, sisters, Peggy Stone and husband Elmer, Barbara Williams and spouse Mike and is reunited with his late brother Albert Jones. James will be cherished in the memories of his beloved grandchildren, Austin, Madison, Sydney, Gerry, Jr., Zephan, Christian, Noah, Hunter, Michaela, Israel, Courtney and Gregory and many loving great grandchildren.
He will be sorely missed.........
