Hilda Catherine Young (nee Knight), age 60, passed away suddenly on January 8, 2016.  She was the beloved wife of Dennis E. Young, Sr., dear mother of Dennis E. Young, Jr. and the late Ashley B. Young, loving sister of Mary F. Gregory and the late David L. Knight, devoted grandmother of Aiden Young and loving friend of Nancy Roo. Hilda was born in South Baltimore then moved to Glen Burnie where she lived most of her life.  She owned her own business, Sun Valley Snowballs, for 35 years.  She had a loyal customer following because "she had the best snowballs around".  She enjoyed reading and watching crime movies, but most of all she loved taking care of and playing with her grandson, Aiden, and spending time with her family. She will truly be missed.... The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie where services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 noon.
