Harold Dean Scott, age 81, passed away on May 5, 2015.  He was the beloved husband of 61 years to Mollie A. (nee McCowen), dear father of Deborah M. Thomas and her husband, Patrick Lee, devoted brother of Dennis and his wife, Judy, Shirley Ann Scott, Mary Evelyn Bueker, Glenda Jo McBroom and her husband, Keith and Brenda Sue Martin and her husband, Paul, loving grandfather of Henry William, III, Heather Marie and Samantha Young, cherished great grandfather of Dean Phillip Scott - Young, Joseph Phillip Proctor, IV and Breanna Lynne Kline. Harold was born in California, Missouri.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before retiring after 22 years of services during the Vietnam War and then retired from NSA after 20 more years. He was a true patriot. Among his many interests, Harold enjoyed reading the bible, jigsaw puzzles, computers and loved tending to his roses and garden, but most of all he loved spending time with his family who meant the world to him. He will surely be missed.... The family will receive friends in Monday, May 11, 2015 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie.  Services will be held on May 12, 2015  at 12:00 noon at Fellowship Baptist Church of Ferndale, 1015 Sundown Road. Ferndale, MD 21061. Interment: Crownsville Veterans Cemetery In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church of Ferndale.
