Gregory Oliver Grove, age 62, passed away on November 3, 2015.  He was the former husband of 32 years to Janet M. Grove, dear father of Gregory Eric and Jeffrey Alan Grove, beloved brother of Deborah R. Morrow and "Dad" to his devoted female black lab, Mitzi. Greg was born in Washington, D.C. and moved to Severn in 1981. He graduated from American University with a BS in Behavioral Science, and did post graduate work in Management Information Systems at University of Maryland, College Park.  He worked as a produce buyer for David's Natural Grocery. He was very dedicated to his job and had a very good work ethic.  He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church in Jessup.  He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and was a 4th degree Knight and held the position of lector. Greg coached baseball from Little League through high school and tournament leagues.  Among many of his interests, he enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.  He was an amateur history buff and especially liked the Civil War era. He was a big sports fan as well. Greg Loved music.  He had a large collection of blues, jazz and rock & roll vinyl records.  He also enjoyed collecting comics. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 10-11:00 AM at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church in Jessup where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately after.
