Grace Luke (nee Archerese), age 91, passed away on February 15, 2015. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late John T. Luke, Sr., devoted mother of Lovey M. Dieso, Victoria M. Nichols and John T. Luke, Jr., cherished grandmother of Carl Dieso, James and Zechariah Nichols, Shelly Campbell and Chrissy Walters, dear great grandmother of Maximo and Isabella Dieso, Conner Walters, Kellisha Campbell and the late Brandon Cook, loving sister of the late Rose Giannetta who passed away just hours after Grace, Carl and Kate Archerese, Tony Archirese, Lillian Marroney and Mary Montanari.
Grace was a resident of Glen Burnie since 1967. She was a devoted an loving family woman. She was also a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Glen Burnie, where she volunteered preparing priest vestments and office support. She liked to cook and everyone enjoyed her "secret recipe" fudge. She also enjoyed needlepoint, cross stitch, embroidery, and gardening, as well as reading, especially romance novels and watching "soaps". Before moving to Pasadena, Grace lived in Porstmouth, Virginia where she was Den Mother for Pack 251.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy South in Glen Burnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 12:30 PM immediately following the visitation.
