Gordon Paul Weedon, Sr., 77, passed away on August 13, 2012 at home.  He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Witort), dear father of Deborah Rubin, Thomas Hobeck and the late Gordon Weedon, Jr., loving grandfather of 5 grandchildren, 3 surviving brothers and 2 sisters and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon was a merchant marine early in his life and then served his country in the United States Marine Corps in Korea. He then worked for Coca-Cola for 38 years before retiring in 1995. Gordon was an active member of The American Legion, Post 40.  He also enjoyed fishing, crabbing, gardening and reading.  He was a big fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Ravens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 16 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie where services will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM.  The interment will be held at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
