Geraldine "Gerry" Burkett, age 82 passed away on April 2, 2024.  She was the endearing daughter of Stanley Plutnicki and Helen (nee Rudis), beloved wife of the late Jerome Burkett, dear mother of the late Lawrence Burkett, Sr, loving grandmother of Lawrence Burkett, Jr, and cherished aunt of Sheleigh Herrington and Marie Plutnicki.

Gerry was a ceramist for 27 years before she retired in 1992.  She then went on to teach at the O'Malley Senior Center for 12 years.  She helped to get Anne Arundel County K-9 Corps to receive medical equipment and treatment paid for by the county.

Among her many interests, Gerry was an avid reader, jigsaw puzzles, animal lover and she loved 50's music.

She will truly be missed...
