George William Rode, age 52, passed away on July 27, 2012 at his home.  He was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School and remained a Glen Burnie resident all of his life.  He was the son of Charles Rode, Sr. and Margaret Rode, both deceased. He is survived by his sister, Loretta Rode Shriner and husband Thomas, brother Charles Rode, Jr. and wife Mary, four nephews, three nieces and two grand nephews. He is also survived by his long time companion, Cathy Rothrock, her daughter, Heather Barton and two grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on November 9, 2012 @ 11:00 AM at Glen Haven Memorial Park on Ritchie Hwy.
