George R. Gable, Sr., age 87, passed away on September 21, 2013.  He was the devoted husband of the late Kathleen (nee Branum) since 1962, dear father of George R., Jr., William L. and the late Dawn L. Gable and loving grandfather of Dillon Bosse and Elizabeth and Elaina Joy Gable. George  served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.   He was a Merchant Marine for 8 years and worked at the family store, Gables Corners, until he began his career as a truck driver. George was a very dedicated worker and provided well for his family.  He enjoyed taking trips with his wife, Kathleen and liked listening to talk radio. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie where services will be held immediately after visitation. Interment:  Glen Haven Cemetery
