Suddenly, on November 5, 2018 Gary Jay Willis, a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie, passed in a tragic incident.  He was 61.

Gary was a solitary man who had a "wicked" sense of humor.  His simple hobbies included surfing on the web on his computer and playing guitar.  Gary's skills with a computer were the culmination of a self  tuition and he enjoyed many hours learning and applying the skills he acquired.  He also was a self taught Guitar player since he was 9 years old.  Over the years he would play in several bands but ultimately he played just for the love of his instrument.  Gary was know for a love for "hard rock," and played it well.  He was also dedicated to his "babes," Cookie, Boomer and Layla, favorite pets.

Dolly Marie (nee Hess), Gary's dear wife of 17 years, survives him as well as his devoted mother Geraldine Willis.  His father Alton precedes him in death.

Gary is also survived by his daughter Donna Marie Elmore and his son Tony Willis the husband of April (nee Matovich).  He leaves a sister Wanda Walters and her husband Harry as well as his brothers Bruce and Kenny the spouse of Terry.

His legacy is guaranteed through three loving grandchildren, Marlon Jones and Brianna and Kayleigh Willis.
