Frank "Bunky" Howard Smitley, Sr., age 77, passed away on February 8, 2016.  He was the beloved husband of Norma Jean (nee Miller), dear father of Eric Smitley, Tammy Baker-Preston the late Frank, Jr. and James Smitley, loving brother of Frankie Mae Geisbert, Rose Hoskins and the late Wilbur "Fred" Smitley and Louise Barton, devoted grandfather of Erika Taylor and great grandfather of Elijah Thomas. Bunky was born in West Virginia.  His family soon moved to Maryland and he lived in Curtis Bay and Brooklyn before settling in Pasadena were he resided with his wife.  He worked as an Owner/Operator long haul truck driver.  He enjoyed going to the casino, working on and collecting cars, NASCAR and drag racing, which he did in earlier years, and he was a member of the Edgemere, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will truly be missed.... The family requests that services be private.
