Francis Carey Topita, age 82, passed away on March 9, 2015.  He was the beloved wife of 55 years to Barbara A. (nee Cruise), dear father of Anthony "Tony" F. Topita and his wife, Karen, Kenneth "Kenny" F. Topita and Caroline Carey (nee Topita) Baio, loving brother of Judith Turner and devoted grandfather of Kelly N. and Ryan P. Topita and Skyler A. and Rowan J. Baio. Frank was born in Philadelphia in 1932.  He earned is Master of Engineering degree from Penn State University. He relocated to Maryland in 1978 and was employed by Westinghouse as a Mechanical Engineer for over 20 years. He was an active parishioner of St. Jane Frances De Chantal Catholic Church in Pasadena, MD. Among his many interests, Frank enjoyed vacationing with his family, visiting his sister in Long Beach Island, New Jersey.  He also coached his boys' little league teams.  He was very involved with his grandchildren as they came along.  He enjoyed taking them fishing and spending as much time as he could with them. He will truly be missed..... A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at St. Jane Frances De Chantal Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Interment: Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge.
