Obituary

Francis J. McMonegal, beloved husband of Rose A. (Carado) McMonegal, wife of 62 years, father of three daughters; Donna Marie Stout, Rosemary Thomas, Anne Griffith and one son, Francis McMonegal, Jr.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and one sister, Mary McMonegal Burns of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Michael, Charles and John McMonegal. Mr. McMonegal served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He received many medals and awards such as the Purple Heart. Francis also served time in the Marine Corps Reserves.  He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Purple Heart, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, Korean War Vets and the Ancient Order of Hiberians.  Mr. McMonegal was retired from the Baltimore City Police Department. R.P.B.A. The family will receive friends at Fink Funeral Home, P.A., 426 Crain Hwy S at 5th Ave in Glen Burnie from 3-5 & 7-9 PM The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1st from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at 8:45 AM.
