On June 9, 2019, Francis Lea Edwards (nee Ciotola) passed at the age of 81.

Born in Baltimore, Francis would spend most of her years in the Severn area only recently living with her daughter in Baltimore.She was a loving mother and devoted mother who left her family wanting for nothing.  Francis was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where she attended for many years with her dear late husband Virgil W. Edwards of 35 years.

She is survived by two dear daughters, Desiree L. Lemmons and Katrina M. Shipley, the spouse of Charles D. Jr.  Francis leaves her loving siblings Pat Lawhorn, John, Carl, Tony, Paul and the late Sue Harp. Francis' memory will be continued with her grandchildren Brian, Christopher and Alan Lemmons, Charles Shipley III and Crystal Harmon.  She is also survived by her dear great-grandchildren Allison, Emily, Braylyn, Pete, Alexa, Dylan, Natalie, Ethan, Leah and Ryder.  Francis will also be missed by her dear friends Mary Bolton and Suzanne Hall.
