Sadly, on November 6, 2024, Florence Mary Adams, (nee' Staniewski) passed in the fullness of her 88th year.

Born the daughter of  Frank and Ida (nee' Michalski) Staniewski in Baltimore all those years ago, she would come to be a resident of Pasadena since 1955.

Florence is a graduate of Southern High School and studied music at the Peabody Institute.  A gifted musician on several wind instruments and the piano, she would be accepted to the famed Julliard School of Music.  Florence however decided to forgo a career in music and chose the noble vocation of being a traditional wife, marrying her dear husband Adam A. Adams (late 2015) in 1954.  She was an exceptional homemaker who loved to cook and was dedicated to her family.  Florence lived her faith in the Catholic tradition and was a lifelong member of St. Jane Frances de Chantel parish in Riviera Beach.

Surviving Florence is her beloved children, loving daughter Theresa P. Wedemeyer and husband Robert, beloved sons, Michael S. ( Sandra "Sandy" 2018), Vincent G. and Alan John Adams.  She will forever be cherished in the memories of her devoted grandchildren, Commander Michael Adams, USCG and wife Jacquie, Stephanie Adams, Devin Adams and his wife, Caitlin, Brianne Adams, Gregory Adams, Kristoffer Wedemeyer, Hunter Adams and spouse Brittany, Andrew Adams and wife Taylor, Candice Bloom and husband Beau and Evelyn Taylor Adams.  Her legacy continues in  11 great-grandchildren who will miss her.  Florence, in the presence of her Savior, rejoins her dear husband Adam, her beloved son Brian G, sister, Francis Jones and last but not least her devoted dog "Winston", who was her "baby."
