Evalin Nyokabi
Warari
June 25, 1993 – March 24, 2026
Suddenly, on March 24, 2026, Evalin departed this life at the age of 32.
Evalin was born in Nairobi, Kenya, to her loving parents, Martin Ngugi and Agnes Warari. In 2015, she immigrated with her family to the United States, where they first settled in Glen Burnie and later made their home in the Brooklyn area.
Evalin was known for her kind and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever she could. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including crocheting and engaging in arts and crafts. She was a member of Caring Hands Daycare in Brooklyn, where she formed meaningful connections with both staff and peers, bringing light and warmth into the lives of those around her.
Evalin attended Winner’s Chapel in Baltimore, where she was a devoted member of the congregation. She had a deep appreciation for Christian music and especially enjoyed Kenyan gospel songs in her native Swahili.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Martin Ngugi and Agnes Warari; her beloved siblings, Irene Warari, Charles Warari, Regina Warari, and Felix Warari; and her dear niece, Amani Wooden. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
