Elsie Caroline Beckner (nee Gross), age 92, passed away on September 20, 2016.  She was the beloved wife of 73 years to the late Elmer W. Beckner, dear mother of William Beckner and his wife, Susan, Marion McKie, Patricia Reed, Joan Beckner and the late Kenneth Beckner, devoted sister of Mary Berg and the late John and Joseph Gross.  She was the loving grandmother of 11 grand, 24 great and 2 great great grandchildren. Elsie was born in born in Baltimore, MD in 1923.  She graduated from South Baltimore School of Nursing in 1965 and worked for Dr. Accinelli.  She also worked at Hutzler's Department Store in Pasadena before retiring. Among her many interests, Elsie enjoyed attending church, being a member of Emmanuel Luthern Church in Pasadena before attending Christ Luthern in Millersville.  Elsie also enjoyed sewing and quilting.  She received a Blue Ribbon for Best of Show for her quilts and was a member of Eternal Quilters of Millersville, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will truly be missed....
