Sadly, on August 25, 2018, Elizabeth Sarah Davis (nee Rowe), affectionately know as "Liz," passed after a lengthy illness.  She was 88.

The dear wife of the late Gilbert E. Sr., who she met at their mutual employer, a local grocer, she steadfastly continued life after his untimely death.  Later in life she would work as a bartender at Joe's Oak Grove, where she retired when she was 80 years old.

Her true vocation though was her dedication to her family.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother and friend to many.

Surviving her is her daughter, Phyllis Riley and husband Tim.  Her sons Ray Jones, Gilbert E. Davis, Jr. and wife Renee, Howard and wife Lorene.  She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Debbie Harmon.  Liz' legacy continues with her 9 grand, 12 great-grand and 1 great-great grandchild.

She will be sorely missed.........
