Eleanore Donna MacKenzie passed away the evening of Saturday, October 12th at Morningside House of Friendship in Hanover, MD. Eleanore was the eldest of twin girls born to Effie and David MacKenzie in 1936. She chose to dedicate her life to educating children, she retired from the Atlanta, GA school system in 1989; moved to Maui and proceeded to educate children there until her health declined too far to continue. Eleanore was a maiden lady that loved her Savior and was a devout Southern Baptist. She is survived by her twin sister, Elaine Brown, Elaine's 3 surviving daughters; her late brother's son; grandnieces and grandnephews, and a couple of great-grands.
