Edward Ronald Martins, age 76, passed away on August 3, 2015.  He was the devoted husband of 53 years to Catherine (nee Scardina), loving father of Rick C. Martins and his wife, Terri, Randy J. Martins and his wife Teckla and Toni Martins and her partner, Eddie Harrell,  dear brother of Bobby Martins, Janet Mayo and Elaine Sulewski, beloved grandfather of Katherine, Richard, Zachary and Lauren Martins and Louis Hehring. Edward was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts in 1938. before coming to Maryland in 1949. He married the love of his life, Catherine in 1962.  He worked as a long haul for 50 years.  He was a member of the Ferndale VFC in his younger years and the Tin Can Association which was made up of United States Navy Vets.  Among many of his interests, Edward enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting coins and metal detecting, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. There will be a memorial mass held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Glen Burnie.
