Earl Martin Heverling passed away on February 3, 2014.  He was the beloved husband of Phyllis A. (nee George) of 20 years, beloved father of Robert G., Earl M., Raymond L. and Rose Margaret Heverling, devoted brother of the late Herman Heverling and Alice Clark, Rose Anna Clark who is the only surviving sibling.  He is also survived by 16 grand and 8 great grandchildren, and cherished stepfather of Ruth, William, Michael and George Helmick and Effie Wiles. Earl enjoyed putzing around the yard and volunteering at the Stoney Creek Democratic Club.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer until retiring after 24 years.  He belonged to the VFW Post 2916, Glen Burnie Moose #1456 and was the past president of the Stoney Creed Democratic Club. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 4 from 3-5 and 7-9 Pm at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie where services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment:  Crownsville Veterans Cemetery
