Earl Thomas Fletcher, Sr., age 89, passed away on April 17, 2014. He was born in 1924 to the late George and Susan Fletcher. He was the dear husband of the late Mildred J. "Duke" (nee Neisser), loving father of  Earl Thomas, Jr. and Kim Torney, devoted grandfather of Ashley Schreiner, Shannon L. Fletcher and Justin J. and Jill K. Torney.  He is preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Earl proudly served his country in the United States Airforce.  After that, he was employed by Fox Chevrolet as  the Parts Manager for 40 years before retiring.  He liked horse racing and as he said " I enjoy the ponies".  He also liked to fish and watch boxing.  Earl was a loving father and truly loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He was the kind of guy that would help anybody without expectation. The family will receive friends for a short visitation on Monday, April 21 from 11:00 to 11:30 at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie.  Graveside services will be held at Glen Haven Cemetery at 12:00 noon, immediately following the visitation.
