Dorothy D. Zaukus, age 71, passed away on October 24, 2017.  She was the dear mother of Michael J. Helms, beloved grandmother of Samantha and Michael A. Helms, devoted sister of William, Joseph and Andrew Zaukus, Margaret M. Sorensen and the late Francis Zaukus and "puppy mom" to her dog, Fred. Dorothy graduated from Arundel High School in 1965 and continued her education to earn her beautician's licence from Augustus School of Cosmetology. She was employed for 15 years at Adolph's Beauty Salon in Harundale Mall.  She later worked as a clerk at Honey Baked Ham in Severna Park for 8 years before retiring in 1992. Among her many interests, Dorothy enjoyed gardening and watching tv, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will truly be missed.....
