On March 22, 2020, Doris May Bowers passed at the age of 93.

Born in Baltimore and raised in Middle River,  Doris would later come to settle in Glen Burnie since 1959.  She was married to her dear  husband of 60 years, Artist C. until his passing in 1995.

A stay at home mom, she was dedicated to her children's well being and providing a good home for them to grow in.  Doris enjoyed her time with family especially time spent vacationing and traveling from Maine to Florida.  She was a noted cook and enjoyed gardening and ceramics crafts.

Surviving Doris is her beloved daughter Kathy Bowers and her loving sons, John "Art" and Donald Bowers.  Her memory will be cherished by her devoted grandchildren Jeremy Bowers, George, Sarah and Bryan as well as great grandchild Shelby Kelly and great-great grandchild Elianna Kelly.
