Dorcas "Dee" Derouin (nee Nelson), age 69, passed away on October 17, 2017.  She was the dear wife of Lawrence Derouin, loving mother of Andrew Derouin and his wife, Kimberly, Michael Derouin and his fiance, Michael Gregory, beloved sister of Earl Nelson and his wife , Roberta, Eileen Payne and her late husband, John, devoted grandmother of  Aiden, Annabelle and William and cherished aunt of Earl, Denene and Stacy.  She was also the caring "puppy mom" of Lucy. Dee was born in Chrisfield, Maryland where she lived until her family moved to South Baltimore in 1950 before she relocated to Glen Burnie in 1979.  She was employed by Harbor Hospital in 1966 as an LPN and retired in 2009. Dee was a member of Glen Burnie UMC.  She was also a Cub Scout mom and leader of Den #887.  Among her many interests, she enjoyed crocheting for all of the children and was like a lioness with her cubs. She will truly be missed....
