Donald Coleman Osborne, age 91, passed away on September 4, 2014. He was the loving husband of 65 years, Marion (nee Hacker). He is preceded in death by his son, Richard, mother, Lula and father, Lawrence D. Osborne, brother, Lawrence E., brother, James W. and sister, Frances L. Osborne as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.  He resided in Ferndale. Don was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1923.  He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  As an occupation, he worked for BGE for 40 years before retiring.  He was a member of American Legion #40, VFW #6694 and was the among the founding fathers of the Destroyer Escort Association of Maryland and the first president of the organization. Donald and his wife, Marion enjoyed traveling, especially to Canada, where they have many friends. They attended several conventions all over the country for the D.E.A. He will surely be missed...... The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 13, 2014 for a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie, MD.
