Donald Linwood Jordan, age 80, passed away on July 18, 2013.  He was the loving husband of Katheryn "Kay" (nee Swingle), devoted father of Sue Phelps, dear brother of Orville and Francis Jordan and beloved grandfather of Kenny Phelps. Donald was a 48 year resident of Glen Burnie.  He proudly served  his country in the United States Airforce. After completing his obligation in the military, he went to work as a pressman for the George W. King Printing Company where he  worked for 18 years,  and progressed his position to foreman.  He then went to  the American Hoechst Company as a Senior Technical Representative for 15 years before retiring.  Donald wanted to continue working and took a position at the Empire Pharmacy for 11 years, delivering medication to the elderly and those who could not venture out. He was a member of the American Legion, DAV and was an honorary member of the Litho Club.  He enjoyed vacationing, reading, taking walks with the dog or strolling by himself.  He also liked talking with his neighbors and friends, but most of all, spending time with his family.  He was a dedicated husband and father.  He was the youngest of 11 children. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 3-5 & 7-9 at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S @ 5th Ave., where services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment:  Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
