Obituary

Sadly, on March 31, 2022, Diane Louise Loudermilk, age 69, passed in the company of her loving family.

Born in Baltimore to Harry Augustus and Mary Ellen (nee Carter) Taylor, she would spend several years there as a child and ultimately come to reside in the Ferndale/Glen Burnie area.

Diane worked as an Administrative Secretary with the Department of Aviation for 27 years, finally retiring in 2020.  In her leisure time she could be found gardening and also watching and feeding  birds.  She liked to go walking especially in parks and was fond of playing puzzle and word games with friends.  She and Carl were able to travel around the country for vacations but Diane was just as happy relaxing at home.

Surviving Diane is her dear husband, since 1990, Carl R. Loudermilk as well as her two beloved children, Stacy Nicole Sterbach and husband Joseph and Michael Dean Moreland, Sr., and fiance' Angie Thomas.   She will be deeply cherished in the memory of her loving grandson Michael D. Moreland, Jr.  Her mother and father-in-law, Carl R. Loudermilk, Sr. and Anna May Gribbles will mourn her passing. Diane will be remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews, Amanda and Rob Thompson, Jenny Xander, Sandra Gibson, Brandy Schmidt, Amy Clarke, Sarah Gray and numerous great-nieces and nephews.  She will be deeply missed by her sisters-in-law Donna Gray and Robin Schmidt.
