Suddenly, on October 22, 2025, David R. Shives passed.  He was 62.

David was a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie and a graduate of Old Mill High School Class of 1981.  He was landscaper by trade and in his leisure enjoyed fishing and camping.  He was an accomplished carpenter who enjoyed woodworking projects.

David is survived by his beloved parents, William J. and Patricia (ne'e Piaskowski) Shives, his loving sisters, Dawn Swift and Michelle Kemp and his devoted brother Christopher Shives.  He is reunited with his late sister Tammy Shives in passing. David will be remembered by several aunts and uncles and numerous nieces and nephews.
