David Eugene Frantz, age 53, passed away on October 16, 2013. He was the beloved son of Gene and Freda Frantz, dear brother of Rick A. and wife, Tracy, Daniel P., Sandy Frantz and Brenda Reihl and husband, Guy, loving uncle of John and Tim Moore, Ricky, Brianna, Bobby and Brandy Frantz, Trista Chandler, Nathan Grimes and devoted great uncle of Leyla Gerigiden. David was born in Panama were his father was stationed in the military.  He worked as a painter for the construction industry.  He was a devout Mormon and was an ordained priest of his church.  His interests included playing guitar and writing his own music, was a 5th Degree Blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do an also was an instructor for the Police Athletic League and Church. David  studied this art since he was a teen and competed and won several awards. David was also very close to the earth.  He enjoyed walks in the woods, camping and nature. He truly loved children and helping people whenever he could. He was a very kind man. The family will receive friends for funeral services on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie.
