Charles Walter Scott, age 88, passed away on September 11, 2012.  He was the beloved husband of 67 years of Gloria Ann (nee Merchlinski), dear father of Charles W. and Stephen D. Scott and Ann Nolan and loving grandfather of Gideon Scott, Douglas, William and Steven Nolan. Charles was a resident of Glen Burnie for 51 years.He served his country in the United States Navy for 20 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer.  He then was employed by NSA where he worked for 23 years. He was a former Grand Knight at the Fr. Michael J. McGivney Council 7025 of The Knights of Columbus, The Admiral Benson Assembly, 4th Degree and a member of The Fleet Reserve Association in Annapolis. Charlie enjoyed golfing, stamp collecting, puzzles and British sit coms, but especially loved spending time with his family. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 13, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie. A Funeral Mass will be held at The Church of the Crucifixion, 100 Scott Ave, Glen Burnie, MD 21060 at 9:00 AM.
