Charles Henry Hanes III passed away suddenly on July 16, 2023.  He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Patricia Hanes and loving father of Charles Hanes IV and Stacy Hanes. Charles worked as a Maryland State Trooper for his career.  Among his many interests, he was a member of the Maryland State Troopers Association, Fraternal Order of Police 076 Greenspring Valley Lodge, Blue Knights Lodge 51395 MD IX R, Life member of the NRA and Master Mason Door To Virtue Lodge 46 AF and AM.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S., Glen Burnie, MD 21061 where a service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 10:30 AM.  Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery immediately following the service.

Charles will truly be missed....
