Sadly, on July 25, 2020, Carrie Catherine Manning, (nee Clayton) passed following a brief illness.  She was just 65.

Born the daughter of James D. and Mary Jane Clayton in Cumberland, Maryland where she was raised she would later come to Anne Arundel County.

Carrie, the dear wife for 45 years of Robert Louis Manning, was a Glen Burnie resident for 37 years since their marriage.  She was an artist/painter who collected porcelain eagles and who was a fan of the great Elvis Presley.  She was even tattooed with his portrait.  Carrie was a dedicated wife, mother and friend.

Surviving her are  beloved children, Susan Renee and Robert L. Manning,III, as well as her siblings Pam Morrison, Norma Jean "Buttons" Clayton and Richard Adams. She joins her loving sister Mary Hammond, "PG," in passing.  Carrie will be deeply missed by her cherished friend Connie Yarsh as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and of course her devoted dogs, "Elvis," Daisy" and "Fluff."
