Calvin M. Thompson, age 73, passed away on November 24, 2013.  He was the beloved husband of 56 years of Beverly A. (nee) Ritter, dear father of Cynthia Price and Gloria Hopkins, loving brother of Janice Ludwig, the late Charles Thompson, Joyce Ludwig and Anna Miller, and devoted grandfather of Morris K. and Sied D. Hopkins, Stanley Price and McKaila Hastings. Calvin was born in Baltimore and later moved to Glen Burnie where he resided for the past 50 years. He worked as a project manager for Lenmar, Inc. for 45 years before retiring.  Some of his interests included camping in West Virginia, crabbing and fishing.  He also enjoyed refinishing antique furniture and refurbishing all kinds of things.  He enjoyed home improvements and tinkering around the house doing all kinds of projects.  He liked carpentry work and old cars. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie where services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM.
