Sadly, on May 21, 2021, Brenda Lee Hargett passed away and into the loving hands of God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was born on July 4, 1953 to her parents Leo J. Kinsey, Jr. and Dolores C. (ne'e Reynold).  She is preceded in death by her sister Judith Helm and survived by her brother Paul D. Michael.

Brenda would give you the shirt off of her back and was known for her kindness, thoughtfulness and devotion to God.  There wasn't a day that went by that she didn't put someone else's needs above her own and show some act of kindness towards someone.  She was a devoted mother to her only child, surviving son, Jesse Lee Hargett.  Brenda lived with her son Jesse who not only viewed her as the best mother in the world but also as his best friend.  He will miss her dearly for the rest of his life and will continue to use her as an example of how to live his life.

Spending time with her son Jesse, animals (especially dogs) and cooking were her greatest pleasures in life.  The world needs more people like her and she will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers her wishes were for donations to be made  to the ASPCA or similar charities that benefit animals.
