Sadly, on December 4, 2021, Betty-Lee Margaret Booker passed in the company of her loving family.  She was 86.

Born the daughter of John Wesley and Elizabeth (nee Merson) Easton in Baltimore, she would come to be a life long resident of Linthicum for over 60 years.

Betty-Lee was a hard working woman and a dedicated employee.  She retired from NSA, where she earned several Presidential awards, then went on to  have another career at J.C. Penney and Hecht Company, where she again retired, finally working at Food Lion for "just" 17 years.  She loved shopping and was an expert at finding great deals from the pink ticket clearance rack.  She was also very generous and would give to anyone in need.  Betty-Lee believed in Jesus Christ and it was said that her faith brought her through a difficult circumstance involving the health of her son.  She promised the Lord that if He would heal her child, she would give a gift to every newborn that she came in contact with.  Each baby received a stuffed animal and the Lord's Prayer, dutifully, long into her golden years.  In fact Betty-Lee was more active as an 80 year old than people half her age.  She was called "the Little Old Lady From Pasadena," and was recognized for her cars, the latest a dodge Dart R/T.  Betty-Lee was a loving, wife, mother, mother-in-law and friend.

Betty-Lee is reunited in passing with her dear husband of 57 years, Robert L. Booker, Sr., (2017) and is survived by her devoted son Robert L. Booker, Jr., and wife Stacey (nee Smith).  She will be missed by her grandchildren Allura B. And Jonathan R. Booker as well as one great grandchild, Jack T. Booker.  Her cherished brother John Easton will mourn her passing.
