Arthur Joseph Sieck, age 85, passed away on February 14, 2014.  He was the beloved husband of Velna (nee Smith), dear father of Michael J., Jo Anne Albrecht, Cathy Dobre and Diane Hobbs, loving brother of Charles Sieck, devoted grandfather of 10 grand and 16 great grandchildren. Arthur was born in Baltimore.  He graduated Mount Saint Joe High School.  He worked as a Lithographer for American Standard for 50 years before retiring.  He moved to Glen Burnie in 1956.  He loved the beach.  He vacationed at Myrtle Beach and Ocean City, MD with his family.  Arthur was also a sports enthusiast.  He watched the Colts while they were in Maryland, then the Ravens and the Orioles. Being a perfectionist, Arthur took care of the built in pool himself.  He was a "take charge" kind of guy and made sure everything else was just right in his house too.  When it was time to unwind, he liked to listen to music while the fireplace was on and candles were lit for a relaxed atmosphere. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 3-7 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy South in Glen Burnie, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
