Arlene F. Burroughs 9-23-1931 to 8-2-2021 Arlene F. Burroughs, 89, of Glen Burnie, passed away on August 2, 2021. Arlene was born on September 23, 1931 in Washington DC to the late George and Elsie Hoffman. She was a devoted Wal-Mart employee for 17 years, she loved her job and her co- workers. Arlene loved baking for others and eating out. She was a child care provider for many years, and always thought of the children as her own. She was a long time Bingo caller at Ferndale Community Center. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was a loving friend to many She was preceded in death by her husband James, and her son, Joseph A. Burroughs. She is survived by her three daughters, Marie Herrmann, Patricia Edwards and her husband Bobby, and Delores Upton and her husband Gary. Loving grandmother to Kristy Burroughs, Jack Burroughs, Suzette Torres, and Keith Edwards. Great grandmother to Korey Yeldell, Anjulese Burroughs, Angela Edwards, Landon, Garrett, and Wade Torres. She was blessed with nine brothers and sisters, two are surviving, Thomas Hoffmann, and Mary Ann Bragunier. The family will receive visitors at Fink Funeral Home 426 Crain Highway S.W. Glen Burnie, 21061, on Thursday, August 5, 3:00-5:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM. The memorial service will also be held at Fink Funeral Home on Friday, August 6, 11:00am.
