Obituary

Anna Marie Clarke 74 lifelong resident of  Glen Burnie and the Odenton area and various duty stations around the world as an Army wife, passed on January 26, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Known as "Mommy" to her children Paulette Alt, Cheryl Shipp, Sandra, Renita and the late James Jr.  Beloved daughter of the late Roland Tyler and Pauline (Hughes), she is also survived by her brother and devoted sister-in-law James and Alice Tyler and loving grandchildren Renita Renae Clarke, Jason and Jerry Shipp Jr. and a host of neices, nephews and cousins who loved her very much.  She is also a great- grandmother of 2. Anna was a very devoted Christian woman and proud to be a mother and homemaker, selflessly providing for the family.  She is known for being dedicated to family and friends. A prolific reader she especially enjoyed mystery novels, scrapooking as a hobby, liked to watch old time movies and loved shopping. Donations may be made in honor of Mrs. Clarke to: Hospice of the Chesapeake, the Kidney Foundation or the Independant Dialysis Foundation IDF, whom so lovingly cared for her in her need.
