On November 8, 2018 Alma Margaret Schaum, a long time Glen Burnie resident, passed following a lengthy illness.  She was 91.

Born and raised in South Baltimore she was the daughter of John J. and Alma Cronin (nee Philips).  In 1949 Alma married her dear husband George J. Schaum who preceded her in death in 1973 and to whom she remained a widow until her passing.

Alma Was a lifelong dedicated home maker who enjoyed shopping, bowling and attending the Glen Burnie Moose Club as a member of the Ladies of the Moose Dolliwogs organization.  She was also a dedicated Catholic and member of the now retired Church of the Good Shepherd.

Surviving her are her dear daughters Margaret Schuman and her husband Dennis and Mary Werner and her spouse Bob.  She leaves two loving sons, John Schaum and his wife Carol and George Schaum and his spouse Peggy.  She is the loving sister-in-law of Margaret M. Cronin.

10 beloved grandchildren and 15 cherished great-grandchildren survive her as well.

Alma joins one grandchild in the after life as well as her brothers John and William Cronin.
