Alan F. Patrick (Ace), age 70, passed away on February 15, 2013.  He was the devoted husband of the late Suzanne (nee Dietz) and is survived by many friends and family. Alan was a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie. He received his PhD from University of Maryland and spent his career as a dedicated teacher and professor at Glen Burnie, Old Mill and Meade High Schools.  He was a professor at Towson University as well. Throughout his career, Alan was loved and admired by his students. Alan played guard for Towson University's basketball team from 1960 - 1964. He also enjoyed his positions as athletic official for soccer, basketball and lacrosse for 41 years.  He was an avid sportsman and especially loved golf. His friends, colleagues and family regarded Alan as "a wonderful human being" and he was a dedicated friend and mentor to many. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 19th from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie.  Services will be held on Wednesday, 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment: Glen Haven Cemetery.
