Obituary

Agnes passed away at 91 years on September 11, 2021.

She was born on April 18, 1930 to Anna and Pete DeRosa of Baltimore City, Md.  At the age of two, the family moved to Anne Arundel County where she spent the remainder of her life.

Agnes (known as Anita) graduated from Glen Burnie High School and went to work for BG&E in Baltimore.  After approximately (15) years, she left to work for Westinghouse Electric Corp in Linthicum, Md.  She left Westinghouse in 1966 to work for General Motors Corp Sales Office in Dorsey, Md.  Anita retired from General Motors in 1991.  She worked as a Secretary in all of the above companies.

In 1993, Anita married William A. Tanner of Severna Park, Md., where they resided until she passed away.  She and her husband Bill enjoyed travelling, music and dancing and gardening.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father, three brothers, Victor, Joseph (Marie) and John (Flora) and sister Rosetta (Herman).  She will be remembered by her beloved 10 nieces and nephews,  Connie Bruce (late Dave), Joseph DeRosa, Jr. (Kim), Wayne DeRosa, Rosanne Boehm (late John), Denise Sacchetti (Michael), George Lotterer, Cheryl Schulte (Michael), Deborah Garcia (Steven), John DeRosa and Jeanne Curry (Jeffrey).
