On April 26,Adam Albert Adams, 82 of Pasadena, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. A resident since 1955, he is widely known as an Artisan Jeweler who owned and operated Adam A. Adams' Jewelers in Glen Burnie since 1972 and crafted fine jewelry since the mid fifties.
A former member of the United States Army, he served his country during the time of the Korean War, in "A" Battery/ 35th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, earning both the National Defense Service Medal and an Army Medal of Good Conduct. Adam was a Life Member of the NRA, belonged to the Stoney Creek Fishing and Hunting Club and was an all around sportsman dedicated to hunting and fishing. He also used his creative and artful skills to carve custom gun stocks and to do other woodworking. Golfing was a favorite pastime and he proudly proclaimed having been Caddy for, non other than Perry Como.
He is survived by his dear wife of over 60 years, Florence M.( Staniewski,) daughter Theresa Pauline Wedemeyer and her spouse Robert, sons Michael Stephen and his spouse Sandra, Vincent Gregory, Alan John, daughter-in-law Amy Adams and the late Brian Gary. Siblings include Marie Okonek, Joseph and the late Andrew, Robert and Theodore Adams. Adams legacy continues with his loving grandchildren Lt. Stephanie Adams, USCG, Lt. Michael Adams, USCG, Lt. Devin Adams, USCG, Brianne and Gregory Adams, Kristoffer Wedemeyer and Candice, Hunter and Andrew Adams as well as one great grandchild Gavin Adams.
