On October 12, 2019 the sun set for Rachel Lorine Holloman. She was in her 69th season of life.
Born in Texas, the beloved daughter of John E. and Katherine (nee Hill) Holloman, she would live in various parts of the country before settling in Brooklyn in 2009. Much of her life was spent in the District of Columbia.
Rachel was a devoted Christian who liked Gospel music and reading, particularly Christian books and had a love for stuffed animals. She was a regular attendee at the Pascal Senior Center where she made many friends and enjoyed the fellowship. She was awarded multiple times for her volunteer work with the Pascal Center. Everyone who knew her will remember her contagious laugh and dear smile.
Rachel is survived by her loving son Kevin D. and his wife Maxine Holloman as well as numerous grand and great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends and acquaintances.
The last of seven siblings, Rachel also joins her dear son Darren and beloved granddaughter Keiona in the presence of the Lord.
