Sadly, on August 25, 2019, Holly Ann Nolan (nee Parrish) passed following a lengthy illness. She was 67.
Born in Baltimore to Raymond Lawrence and Margaret Helena (nee O'Donovan) Parrish, she would later become a resident of Glen Burnie, where she would spend the balance of her days.
A Registered Nurse by trade, she earned her nursing degree from the Saint Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing and practiced her vocation for nearly 32 years. During her tenure, Holly would work at various local hospitals, focusing on Pediatric Medicine and finally retiring from a private medical practice.
In her leisure time, Holly was a passionate collector of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and other ephemera. She was involved in "Operation Raggedy Hugs," an organization collecting dolls for distribution to victims of the 9/11 tragedy and was a regular attendee at the Raggedy Ann and Andy Festival in Arcola, Illinois. She even had a vanity license plate on her car that read "RGDYANN." Holly was a member of Ravens Roost #10 and was particularly fond of her cats.
Holly is reunited with her dear husband of 40 years, (Anthony) Michael Nolan, who preceded her in passing in 2014.
She is survived by her loving sons, Timothy, Raymond and Drew, as well as her devoted sister Peggy Anuszewski and husband Frank. Holly's legacy lives on in her cherished grandchildren, Isabella Young-Nolan and Michael Jacob Tyler Young-Nolan.
She will be sorely missed.......
